Held in spring each year the Bloom Festival attracts thousands of people keen to experience the extraordinary landscapes and natural beauty of the entire Great Southern region. Festival events include wildflower displays, guided orchid tours, open gardens, workshops, long table lunches, art exhibitions and craft activities.

Celebrating its 10 year anniversary in 2021, the Bloom Festival is the perfect time to discover your own hidden treasures in the Great Southern!

With the wildflower season flourishing, the Bloom Festival celebrates the renewal of spring throughout the Great Southern, focusing on the wildflower tapestries and town cultures that make up this diverse region.

With a full month of things to do and see over 19 towns, the festival encompasses more than 30 events and displays. It is well worth taking the time to enjoy what nature and passionate people have to offer!

The style of events includes arts, crafts, displays, entertainment, exhibitions, fauna, floral-themed activities, food events, guided tours, heritage, landcare, markets, Noongar culture, open gardens, organics, trails, wildflowers, wine events and workshops.

Plan some time off with your favourite people and pack your camera to record all the Insta moments you will treasure all year. Follow the suggested itineraries or make up your own!

The presentation will show you across the region from Mount Barker in the south, Kojonup and Woodanilling to the north, Pingrup in the east to Frankland River in the west. It will take in major centres such as Katanning, Gnowangerup, the Stirling Ranges and the Porongurups.
